upBeat® Biosensors are designed for continuous 24x7 monitoring of persons wherever they are at home, office, hospital, etc i.e. both inpatient and outpatient. upBeat® is undergoing rigorous pre-clinical testing to evaluate it's performance and improve it based on the feedback. This article details one such pre-clinical study for outpatient ambulatory monitoring. One case of a 37 year old female where PR interval prolongation was observed is detailed below.

The heart rate is about 70 bpm.
Deep Breaths
The heart rate is about 80 bpm. Notice down the heart rate slows down in the plot below. Several studies have shown how during deep expiration can slow your heart rateand vice-versa.
Walking
The heart rate is about 110 bpm.
Climbing up & down stairs
The heart rate is about 150 bpm.
Sleeping
The heart rate reduces to about 70 bpm. Notice the PR interval prolongation.
